Withee Malcolm Architects

Two Withee Malcolm multi-family projects, in Carson and Willowbrook, have been honored in this year’s PCBC Gold Nugget Awards program. The first, Gateway at Willowbrook, is a first-of-its kind affordable senior community that brings a County of LA public library to its mixed-use program. The second, Jefferson at Avalon, reignites community growth by reconceptualizing a 20-acre parcel in Downtown Carson. The mixed-use masterplan brings together a range of multi-family dwellings with outdoor space, a hotel, and retail in a way that breathes new life into this long-dormant area.

Both projects received Awards of Merit, the highest honor in their respective categories, and are contenders for the program’s Grand Award.
